Located just over the Chechnyan border, only forty kilometres from Grozny, these large refugee camps in Ingushetia are a bleak hope for a better future. With only a few aid organisations able to help; these people are living in difficult circumstances without a propspect of returning home. The children living as IDPs (Internally Displaced People) in Ingushetia and in Chechnya are often traumatized as a result of the two recent wars.

War Child is working with the children in these camps, using creative  therapy to adress the trauma's of war they have suffered. This photo exhibition is a documentary of a visit to this War Child project
