Keep The Beat is War Child Canada's music fundraiser in support of war-affected children around the world.

Keep The Beat events keep the music going non-stop for 3, 6 or 12 hours through performances, dances, house parties, drumming circles, talent shows, competitions - there are no creative boundaries! Keep The BeatIt's a fantastic opportunity to have fun, raise awareness about war-affected children and exercise your capacity to be a responsible global citizen.

Not sure how to fill 3, 6 or 12 hours? Here are some ideas! Use this list to help you brainstorm about what kind of music activities you can do!

If your Keep The Beat event raises the most money overall, your school will receive a Much Video Dance courtesy of MuchMusic. To be eligible for this prize, all funds and forms must be postmarked no later than MAY 1, 2006 and your school must be located in Canada.
