The Control Arms committee at Oxfam Canada's Toronto Office Launched the 100 days of action in March to raise awareness on arms transfers, which fuel violent conflict affecting children world-wide. War Child Canada is proud to be supporting this awareness raising initiative.

On Thursday June 15th at 7pm the Control Arms committee 100 Days of Action will be have a film screening at the Bloor Cinema (506 Bloor St W, Toronto) for In a Soldier's Footsteps directed by Mette Zuruneith (2005). The Control Arms Campaign and its impact on poverty and suffering will be showcased.

Following the film there will be a panel discussion on child soldiers and signatures will be collected for the Million Faces Petition which will send a powerful, global message of support to the world's governments for an International Arms Trade Treaty.
