WHAT WAR CHILD IS DOING

War Child  is deeply concerned with the humanitarian crisis facing the Sudanese people in western Sudan, particularly children.

The Humanitarian Crisis in DarfurDarfur is the largest humanitarian disaster of this moment. The population is the victim of this gruesome conflict. more than 70.000 dead. More than 1.5 million people have been displaced from their homes in western Sudan as a result of a conflict between the Sudanese government and two rebel groups that broke out in February 2003.

War Child Holland and War Child Canada work together in the field in Sudan and closely coordinate their activities.
