War Child is the "coolest" charity in Holland, according to the National CoolCharity-poll. Critical succesfactors that contributed were communicating about successes and using original and innovative communication campaigns.

 National Lottery supports War Child Holland with 1 million euro

War Child annual report wins Transparency Award

War Child Holland has won the Dutch Transparency Award 2006 for the Annual Report 2005. From a total of 168 applicants, War Child won both the overall award as well as the award for larger aid organisations.

“We are very happy with this recognition. Transparancy has always been an important part of our overall policies. A transparant annual report is only a beginning. As an organisation we want to be transparent in all our communications”, according to Willemijn Verloop, executive director of War Child Holland.
