 For the last 18 years rebel leader Joseph Kony and his rebel army have been making life very unsafe for children in North Uganda, kidnapping small children, boys and girls, from their villages.
Every night thousands of children “The Night Commuters” walk from their villages to the local towns, fleeing from the  rebels and to find a safe hiding place for the night. The children of North Uganda live in constant fear.
War Child Holland has therefore started a new project in this East African country.
